There are rules, but they are rather simple too. We reserve the right to discontinue service should we find that we have any difficulties with any of our clients. What this doesn't include is clients who send us email because they have problems, or clients who just rub us the wrong way. This could include overtaxing our servers, whether by creating an inordinate amount of traffic, maintaining pornographic sites or sites with content which may be deemed illegal or repeated difficulty with server programming which causes security risks or overtaxing of our servers. We know this is vague, but the reality of it is that if you don't know that your web site would be a potential problem for us, it probably isn't. If you are uncertain, please just take the time to ask.
You may be looking at this and thinking to yourself that this site seems unpolished, unprofessional, even uncouth. There are a few reasons for this. Our business model involves getting everything set up nicely so that our customers do not experience difficulties with our services. We aren't interested in being some huge hosting company, and our focus is on local service areas which are taken care of by local web developers. We are well equipped to handle hosting demand, but have not reached a point in our plan where we care to begin marketing. While we could probably market and make a great deal of money today based on it, we do not want to see a sudden influx of customers which would detract from our ability to serve the customers we currently have.
If you want amazingly good service at a reasonable price right now, and our simple site and Simple Plan are right for you, by all means send us an email and we will be happy to get you set up. If you need something more (or less, for that matter) than what our Simple Plan offers, please let us know. We are happy to discuss making changes for the sake of our customers.
